"I wish I'd known that was available": Our Outlet Program

"I'd have it .. if the price was lower" ...

This might be one of the most oft quoted statements for those who have to defer a purchase or choose something that is a compromise (because of budget limitations). What I learned from many years of working with Scandinavian companies is that a quality product is appreciated but in countries like Sweden (where much of the population is not wealthy) both organisations and personal buyers will be keen to go for quality at a low price. In theory, easier said than done, thus OUTLET programs do very well in these environments.

One of the initiatives I'm most invested in at Offiscape is our local OUTLET program. The challenge is making people aware that this option is there. We have over a thousand furniture pieces (the vast majority of very high quality) but at massively reduced prices on their normal retail pricing. Sure, there may be limited numbers or fewer finish options at the bargain prices, but the Scandinavians have a strong culture of checking what's available in a quality OUTLET program before they revert to the rest of their 'shopping list'.

The German made SEDUS SE AIR Task chair pictured is brand new (but unboxed). It is normally around $800 but in the OUTLET just $397 (including GST). It is the result of around one million dollars in R&D and a beautiful, quality product ... and many current buyers of a quality task chair would shake their head after spending more for a less quality product ... and simply say "I wish I'd known that was available" ...
